I checked the disk and after a long while it came up with an error on the hard drive.IOS and getting a windows 10 pro. It would hang and give me a blank screen. It worked OK for a while, and then it started having boot problems.

I bought a second hand one on ebay, which I haven't actually got yet. All of which I should be capable of.However the first thing I need to do is to get the Vostro working.Unfortunately, I m not very good with computers and technology.I set it up, and it booted fine, but I figured that the HDD wasn't going to have miraculously mended itself, so I should replace it. I would hang it on the wall, (next to the TV), buy a wireless microphone, get it to react to voice commands (sleep, wake) and make the text large enough etc so that she can read it as she does with sub-titles. We decided that it would be good if we could use the Dell Vostro 360 all-in-one as a dedicated machine. There are problems but the improvement in our life is phenomenal. So much better than nothing.
But the last two times I've used CTRL + ALT + delete, I've got a red screen, and when I run task manager from that the screen goes black, and task manager reports that no apps are running and I get nothing else.If I can get the Vostro running I can use Speccy or Everest to give system details, but at the moment I can't.(I'm normally on the computer from about 4pm to 6pm, and 1am to 4am.However because I'm retired I am flexible)When I first got it, it was running Windows 7 pro.For a couple of months it seemed to be running fine.I bought a used 500gb SATA hard drive on ebay.The 2TB External Drive (Core by CnM) I bought new from Maplins a while back.The reason why I bought a used one, rather than new, apart from the cost,Is that I hope it will not be doing very much.I want it to be permanently switched on, going to sleep and waking via voice command.I only want it to run Google Docs (voice Dictation) within Google Chrome browserI'll hopefully use Cortana to send it to sleep and wake it up.As far as I can see, this shouldn't involve much if any hard disk work,So I thought I could get away with a used oneI downloaded the Windows Media Creation Tool onto it,Because its about 6gb, and a DVD is only 4.7, and my flash drives are only 4gb.Before I tried to use it on the vostro, I thought I best check if it was bootable.I downloaded utility MobaLiveCD, whi according to google will tell me if it bootableWhen I ran it, (as administrator) it went into Command InterpreterIt said there was an error loading operating system from the hard disk.I am presuming this means that the contents of the external drive(the windows 10 iso file) is not bootable.But I'm struggling to find documentation about MobaLiveCD. If I press CTRL + ALT + delete, I can start the task manager.Normally, if I play around like this a few times, for some reason it will eventually boot.Which may still be the case.
